The castle of Rohan


The castle of Rohan, the military architecture of the fifteenth century, is situated in the heart of the town of Pontivy

Since 1396, the city is the political, judicial and military capital of Rohan. To confirm the presence of the Rohan family in Central Brittany, Jean II of Rohan decided in 1485 to build a mighty castle Pontivy.
